  • Drew Coverdale


    CHARTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST
    MSc BSc MCSP MMACP

    Drew Coverdale is a physiotherapist in the UK and author of The Pain Habit with over 25 years of experience treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

    His particular interest in persistent pain involves writing, research, clinical practice, and training therapists worldwide on the subject. He is passionate about teaching patients and therapists how and why persistent pain develops and how to reverse the habits that have created that pain.

  • Ray McAlpine


    CHARTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST
    MSc BSc PgCert MCSP

    Ray gained a degree in Sport and Exercise Science before becoming a Chartered Physiotherapist and specialising in managing musculoskeletal disorders.

    He has worked in musculoskeletal clinics and orthopedic departments since graduating in 2006 where he has rehabilitated many patients with traumatic injuries and regularly updates his knowledge of current treatments to aid in planning patient’s recovery.

  • Kerry Thornton


    CHARTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST BSc (Hons) MCSP

    Since qualifying in 2014, Kerry has worked across various MSK settings within the NHS, now based within South Tees NHS Foundation Trust. She specialises in Major Trauma and orthopaedics, covering many MSK injuries.

    Kerry regularly keeps skills up to date, which allows her to treat and rehabilitate throughout the patient's journey.

  • Melissa Johnson


    CHARTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST BSc (Hons) MCSP

    Melissa Johnson graduated in 2008 from Coventry University and has over ten years of experience working as a senior clinician within the NHS, assessing and treating patients with various musculoskeletal complaints.

    She currently works as a shoulder and elbow advanced physiotherapy practitioner and always strives to provide a high level of patient-centred care by developing individually tailored rehabilitation programmes.

  • John Willet


    PODIATRIST
    BSc (Hons)

    John Willet graduated in 2000 and is a podiatrist with over ten years of experience as a senior clinician in the NHS. He works as an ESP (Extended Scope Practitioner) Specialist Podiatrist in Biomechanics and is currently working as a clinical lead in biomechanics and gait analysis.

    He works alongside other medical professionals, including Consultants, GPs, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals. In addition, he liaises closely with other healthcare and medical professionals regarding foot health matters and patient care.

  • Kerry Smith


    PODIATRIST

    Kerry Smith graduated in 2010, has worked within a multidisciplinary team providing quality foot care in the NHS, and has over ten years of experience working in the care sector.

    Kerry is a patient-centred practitioner who always uses a kind and caring approach. She is conscientious and hardworking and strives to provide tailored care packages to meet individual foot health needs.

  • Kerry Jordan


    PODIATRIST BSc (Hons)

    Kerry has over 25 years of experience in the field of podiatry. After a career in the NHS, she now works part-time in private practice and has offered her care voluntarily to a local homeless charity.

    She has a particular interest in diabetic foot care, is vastly experienced in this specialism and is a valued member of our team.

  • Olivia Mounter

    PODIATRIST BSc (Hons)

    Olivia graduated from Teesside University and is currently completing her Advanced Clinical Practitioner Master's, which will end in 2023. Olivia is currently a Senior Podiatrist in the NHS, has a bubbly and caring personality, and goes above and beyond to ensure the best patient care.

    Olivia has over ten years of experience working alongside frail and neurological patients in the care sector. Olivia operates under a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, consultants and advanced practitioners, helping improve patient care.

Sports Therapy

  • Gary Hinchley

    SPORTS THERAPIST
    (FA Dip.)

    Gary has over 25 years of clinical experience in private practice, treating a broad range of joint and soft tissue injuries.

    He was one of the first graduates of the FA Diploma in the Treatment and Management of Sports Injuries and held the position of Hartlepool Football Club Sports Therapist for six seasons.

    As a former professional footballer, he understands the importance of delivering quality rehabilitation and has gained an excellent reputation through his work with professional and amateur sportsmen and women.

  • Angela Richings


    CHARTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Angela has over 25 years of experience mainly within the NHS. She is a women’s health specialist having completed the women’s health post grad course at Bradford University.

    Angela lectures on women’s health issues to midwives and physio students at Teesside University, and she is also a mum of 4 herself.
